Captain Cage has over 40 years of professional fishing experience and through his tenure has fished some of the most exotic waters such as Panama, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Mexico, Florida, and the Virgin Islands. Honing his skills, it's no surprise he has won many tournaments over the years and has guided his clients to 3 North Carolina state records over the years including the NC state record for striped bass which tipped the scales at 64lbs and still holds the title today. Capt. Cage became the owner and operator of the Poacher 30 years ago and is ready to get you on the water and into the action.
The Poacher
Powered by a powerful 450hp Cummins diesel engine, this 42' 1980 Bruno Stillman is ready for the hunt armed with a cobia tower, side scan sonar, multiple plotters and color sonar displays, VHF radio's, and sound pumping stereo system. The spacious 18' rear deck is equipped with 4 fighting chairs, and a sunshade to take a break from the sun. The inside cabin provides ample seating space and a private bathroom. The Poacher is fully equipped with approved safety gear, meets all USCG requirements, and fishing licenses. You just have to bring yourself, food and drink, and necessities (don't forget sunscreen!).
